Financial Due Diligence Manager, Transaction Services

About the role

PwC is hiring a Financial Due Diligence Manager for its Transaction Services team in Abu Dhabi. The team supports buy-side and sell-side due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and capital markets, helping corporate, banking and private equity clients validate financial, commercial, operational and strategic assumptions. The role sits in Advisory, at manager level.

Key responsibilities

• Identify key drivers of a business and potential deal breakers, financial and non-financial
• Write and review financial due diligence reports (buy-side, sell-side or refinancing) for corporate, banking and private equity clients
• Build Excel-based data packs and playbooks, including income statement projections, balance sheets and revenue analysis
• Prepare quality of earnings, net debt and net working capital analyses
• Coach and supervise junior team members

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of financial due diligence and transaction advisory experience in a Big 4 professional services firm; prior transaction services experience preferred
• Degree in Accounting or Finance; preferred accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA or ICAI
• Overall understanding of M&A from an FDD perspective
• Ability to read financial statements and management accounts and to challenge assumptions
• Good written skills for reporting and ability to communicate with clients and counterparties
