Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

About the role

Al Tamimi & Company is seeking a highly analytical and commercially driven Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager to join its Group Finance team in Sharjah. The role will lead FP&A activities across the MENA region, translating financial data into actionable insights that support strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the FP&A team, fostering continuous learning and high performance.
• Partner with finance leadership to develop short‑, medium‑ and long‑term financial plans.
• Prepare and analyse monthly management reports, including billing, collections and cash flow.
• Monitor financial performance, analyse variances and highlight risks and opportunities.
• Develop financial models to support budgeting, forecasting and investment decisions.
• Prepare business cases for strategic initiatives and investments.
• Deliver competitor analysis, market insights and performance commentary.
• Support KPI development, scorecards and performance‑tracking tools.
• Utilise Power BI to create dashboards and actionable insights.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of reporting in line with firm policies.
• Provide ad‑hoc analysis and contribute to special projects.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent).
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an FP&A role, preferably within professional services.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Self‑motivated, proactive and results‑oriented with a collaborative approach.
