Finishing Project Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Finishing Project Engineer to lead the finishing phase of high‑rise building projects. The successful candidate will coordinate all activities, ensure quality standards, and deliver the project on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations for the finishing stage.
• Supervise on‑site activities, guaranteeing compliance with specifications and quality requirements.
• Collaborate with site engineers, foremen, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.
• Apply rigorous quality‑control procedures and monitor workmanship and material standards.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with the finishing phase.
• Track progress, report key performance indicators, and provide regular updates to management.
• Review and approve change orders, ensuring alignment with budget and project goals.
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure adherence to local building codes and regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in high‑rise construction, preferably in a finishing‑stage role.
• Strong knowledge of structural engineering principles, construction methods, and building codes.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with project management software and tools.
