Fire Fighting Technician

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Fire Fighting Technician to join our team in the UAE. The role involves installing, maintaining, testing and repairing fire fighting systems across residential, commercial and industrial projects.

Key responsibilities

• Install fire fighting systems according to drawings and specifications.
• Maintain and repair fire pumps, piping networks, sprinkler heads, hose reels, fire extinguishers and valves.
• Conduct routine inspections and functional testing to ensure compliance with codes.
• Identify faults, troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with supervisors and engineers on system upgrades or modifications.
• Document all inspections, tests and maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with other MEP teams during project execution.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of fire pumps, sprinkler systems, hydrants, wet and dry risers.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Familiarity with NFPA standards and local fire code regulations.
• Good problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Physically fit and able to work at heights or in confined spaces.
