Firefighter

About the role

The Firefighter will protect lives, assets and the environment by responding to fire, gas releases, chemical spills and other emergencies on ADNOC Offshore premises. The role involves active fire suppression, rescue operations and routine maintenance of safety equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform fire suppression, rescue and lifesaving activities during emergencies.
• Provide first‑aid treatment and artificial respiration to injured personnel.
• Operate and maintain firefighting, safety and emergency equipment, vehicles and station facilities.
• Respond to alarms, gas detectors and emergency calls, and execute hazard‑control measures.
• Inspect areas after incidents, ensure equipment is reset and ready for future use.
• Participate in regular training drills, fire‑prevention exercises and standby duties.

Required profile

• Ability to prioritize lifesaving while minimizing property damage.
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of first‑aid procedures and fire‑fighting techniques.
• Physical fitness and readiness to work in hazardous environments.
• Willingness to work on a rotating shift schedule and be on standby.
