Fit-Out & Joinery Site Engineer

About the role

The Fit-Out & Joinery Site Engineer will oversee the installation of high‑end interior joinery items across projects in Abu Dhabi. This role requires close coordination with design teams, contractors and on‑site crews to ensure quality and schedule compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily installation of custom doors, wardrobes, kitchen cabinets, vanity units and wall cladding.
• Read, interpret and cross‑check architectural shop drawings and cutting lists against site conditions, resolving technical issues.
• Take accurate site measurements and coordinate dimensions with the factory to minimise waste.
• Coordinate installation teams, main contractors, designers, consultants and project managers; attend site and client meetings.
• Inspect finishing quality, manage snagging/de‑snagging and raise Work/Material Inspection Requests.
• Prepare daily and weekly progress reports, track material consumption and ensure work stays within budget.
• Enforce HSE requirements and safe installation practices on site.

Required profile

• Minimum 3–5 years of UAE experience in high‑end interior fit‑out and custom joinery.
• Bachelor’s degree, attested, with MOFA equivalency.
• Valid UAE driving licence.
• Strong communication, leadership and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Interpretation of detailed shop drawings and joinery details.
• Accurate site measurement and dimension coordination.
