Fleet Supervisor – Vehicle Operations Management

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Fleet Supervisor to oversee the daily deployment and maintenance of our vehicle fleet, including cars, vans, trucks, buses and heavy equipment. The role ensures optimal vehicle utilization, driver performance and compliance with UAE regulations, contributing to efficient and safe transport operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily deployment of vehicles, ensuring availability and efficient assignment.
• Supervise drivers and transport coordinators, monitoring attendance, licences and performance.
• Investigate accidents, violations and driver complaints.
• Schedule preventive maintenance, coordinate repairs with workshops and vendors, and track downtime and costs.
• Maintain registration, insurance, permits and inspection records, ensuring timely renewals and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor fuel consumption, tolls, fines and operating expenses; prepare cost and utilization reports.
• Utilise fleet management systems and GPS tracking to monitor route efficiency, driver behaviour and generate KPI reports.
• Enforce HSE and road safety standards, conduct toolbox talks and driver briefings.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Automotive, Mechanical or related field.
• 3–7+ years of experience in fleet or transport operations.
• Proven supervisory experience managing drivers and vehicle fleets.
• Strong knowledge of UAE traffic regulations and vehicle documentation.
• UAE driving licence preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with fleet management software.
• Knowledge of GPS tracking and route optimisation.
