Flight Instructor (MPL & Instrument Rating)

About the role

Air Arabia Academy is seeking a qualified Flight Instructor to deliver MPL, IR and instructor training in compliance with GCAA CAR FCL Rev.5. You will mentor cadets, ensure regulatory adherence, and support the academy’s training standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct standardisation training for MPL, IR and instructor candidates.
• Deliver competency‑based MPL multi‑crew training as an MPL Instructor (MPLI).
• Provide Instrument Rating Instructor (IRI) training to academy instructors.
• Monitor student performance, manage at‑risk cadets and conduct remediation plans.
• Interview MPL candidates and assess suitability.
• Participate in Instructor Standardisation Meetings and calibration sessions.
• Provide feedback for syllabus and training material revisions.
• Maintain accurate training records, grade sheets and progress reviews.

Required profile

• Valid CPL/ATPL with IR (GCAA CAR FCL) and a Class 1 Medical.
• Qualified MPL Instructor (MPLI) and Instrument Rating Instructor (IRI) with AOC instructional approval.
• Minimum 500 flight instructional hours and compliance with CAR FCL recency requirements.
• English Language Proficiency Level 5 or higher; Arabic or other languages are a plus.
• AUPRT qualification (mandatory).
