Flight Instructor – MPL & IR Training

About the role

Air Arabia Academy is seeking a qualified Flight Instructor to deliver Multi‑crew Pilot License (MPL) and Instrument Rating (IR) training in compliance with GCAA regulations. You will mentor cadets, ensure instructional standards, and support the academy’s curriculum development.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct standardization training for MPL, IR and instructor candidates.
• Deliver competency‑based MPL training as an MPL Instructor (MPLI) and IR training as an IRI.
• Monitor student performance, manage at‑risk cadets, and provide remedial plans.
• Interview MPL candidates and assess suitability.
• Participate in Instructor Standardization Meetings and calibration sessions.
• Provide feedback for syllabus revisions and contribute to curriculum development.
• Prepare pre‑core briefings and maintain accurate training records.

Required profile

• Valid CPL/ATPL with IR (GCAA CAR FCL) and qualified MPLI & IRI.
• Valid Class 1 Medical and English Language Proficiency Level 5 or higher.
• AUPRT qualification (mandatory) and at least 500 flight instructional hours.
• Strong understanding of GCAA rules, safety procedures, and aviation best practices.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
