Food and Beverage Attendant

About the role

As a Food and Beverage Attendant at Mercure Abu Dhabi Downtown, you will be the face of the restaurant, delivering warm, professional service to every guest. You will work closely with the team to ensure a seamless dining experience while upholding Accor’s high standards of hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Provide friendly, engaging service to all guests throughout their visit.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of menu items, beverage lists, promotions, and preparation methods.
• Assist guests with menu inquiries, offering recommendations and detailed information.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and outlet policies when handling food and beverages.
• Handle cash and non‑cash transactions accurately, including end‑of‑shift reporting and safe deposits.
• Attend pre‑meal briefings and regular meetings to continuously improve service quality.
• Ensure proper linen count and perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Highly responsible, reliable, and able to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Team‑oriented with strong interpersonal and problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• Experience with the Micros POS system (training provided if needed).
