Food and Beverage Supervisor

About the role

The Food and Beverage Supervisor will lead the service team at Sheraton Dubai to ensure seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences. This role combines hands‑on supervision with operational oversight, covering everything from opening procedures to guest interaction.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate staff to deliver optimal service and meet guest needs.
• Inspect staff grooming and attire, correcting any deficiencies.
• Perform opening and closing duties, including setup of supplies, equipment cleaning, and securing the venue.
• Maintain organized storage areas, enforce FIFO practices, and ensure cleanliness.
• Conduct inventories, manage stock levels, and requisition supplies as required.
• Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service quality, safety, and guest wellbeing.
• Generate work orders for maintenance and follow up on repairs.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, performance evaluation, and employee coaching.
• Enforce company safety, security, and quality policies; report incidents and complete required training.
• Welcome guests, anticipate service needs, assist guests with disabilities, and express genuine appreciation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in food and beverage operations, preferably in a supervisory capacity.
• Strong leadership and team‑building abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor.
• Attention to detail with a focus on hygiene, safety, and service standards.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
