Food & Beverage Attendant – Hotel Service

About the role

The Food & Beverage Attendant will deliver professional, friendly and engaging service to guests at Mercure Abu Dhabi Downtown. You will be the face of the outlet, ensuring guests enjoy a seamless dining experience while upholding Accor’s high standards of hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Provide warm, courteous service and maintain a thorough knowledge of menu and beverage offerings.
• Assist guests with menu selections, explain ingredients, garnishes and preparation methods.
• Follow all safety, sanitation and outlet policies when handling food and beverages.
• Accurately process cash and non‑cash transactions, prepare shift end reports and handle money deposits.
• Attend pre‑meal briefings and regular meetings to continuously improve guest experience.
• Ensure proper linen count at shift end and perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is an asset.
• Highly responsible, reliable and able to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Team‑oriented with strong interpersonal and problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• Micros point‑of‑sale system experience (training provided if needed).
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
