Forward Deployed Engineer – Agentic AI Systems

About the role

Join an enterprise AI company’s field engineering team in Abu Dhabi to design, build, and deploy AI agents and LLM applications that become part of customers’ daily operations. You will work directly with senior stakeholders, translate business needs into technical solutions, and own the end‑to‑end delivery from discovery to production.

Key responsibilities

• Identify high‑value AI use cases with customers and define delivery requirements.
• Design, develop, and deploy AI agents, LLM applications, and automated workflows.
• Integrate solutions with customer APIs, databases, and internal systems, handling authentication and error management.
• Manage the full delivery lifecycle, including prototyping, production deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
• Address security, reliability, model quality, latency, and cost challenges.
• Collaborate with the product team to turn customer deployments into reusable platform capabilities.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 2 years building and deploying AI/ML applications.
• Hands‑on experience delivering LLM or agentic AI solutions to real users, able to explain architecture and outcomes.
• Strong commercial awareness, able to challenge briefs, prioritize use cases, and communicate technical trade‑offs in business terms.
• Experience working directly with customers or business stakeholders to gather requirements and manage expectations.

Required skills

• Python programming, including backend services, API development, testing, and production troubleshooting.
• Building Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines and multi‑step AI agents.
• Integrating applications with enterprise systems (authentication, data access, error handling).
• Deploying AI models at scale, addressing latency, reliability, and cost considerations.
