Forward Deployed Engineer, Enterprise - Dubai

About the role

Murphy builds AI agents for banks, starting with voice AI for debt collection, and is looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to lead enterprise deployments in the UAE and the wider Middle East. Based in Dubai, you will own the technical execution of AI agent builds for banks and large lenders, from POC scoping through production launch, and then own the agent's performance in production.

Key responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of enterprise agent builds, from POC scoping through implementation, evaluation and production launch.
• Define agent operating procedures (actions, guardrails, escalations) with the customer and turn them into agent behavior.
• Design and engineer the prompts and agent logic that drive identification, negotiation and payment conversations across languages and channels.
• Configure how and when debtors are reached: call windows, retry and frequency rules within local regulations, channel mix (voice, SMS, RCS, WhatsApp), payment links and hand-offs to human agents.
• Build evaluation and simulation harnesses and regression tests against real call outcomes.
• Build, validate and maintain integrations with core banking, collections platforms, data pipelines and telephony systems.
• Diagnose failures from transcripts, traces and logs and fix them in the agent or flag them to Engineering.
• Analyze production performance (contact rates, promises, payments, funnel) with SQL and dashboards, explain results to the customer and turn findings into improvements.
• Work with senior technical and operations stakeholders to define success metrics and deliver against timelines.
• Support Account Executives with technical discovery and demos, and turn lessons into reusable templates and playbooks.

Required profile

• 5+ years in a technical customer-facing role such as forward deployed engineering, solutions engineering, implementation engineering, technical consulting or technical product management.
• Hands-on experience building with LLMs: prompting, evals, guardrails, harnesses and tool use.
• Experience delivering production systems for enterprise customers that required structured testing and iteration.
• Ability to explain technical decisions clearly to senior stakeholders and turn requirements into a delivery plan.
• Native-level Arabic and fluent English; experience in banking, lending or collections, or voice AI or telephony, is an advantage.
• Computer Science, Engineering or Math degree, or equivalent experience.

Required skills

• Writing code and SQL, working with APIs and building integrations end to end.
• LLM prompting, evaluation harnesses and guardrails.
