Foundation Stage Teacher, Primary School (August 2027)

About the role

The Arbor School is looking for an enthusiastic, nurturing and reflective Foundation Stage Teacher to join its Early Years team. The teacher will create a warm, inclusive learning environment where young children feel safe and curious, and will plan, deliver and assess learning experiences aligned with the EYFS framework. The school opened in 2018 with a vision of experiential, authentic education inspired by the natural beauty and ecological and social challenges of the Arabian Peninsula.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess high-quality learning experiences using developmentally appropriate, inquiry-driven practice and the EYFS framework.
• Build strong relationships with children and families and establish a supportive classroom culture.
• Promote early language, literacy and numeracy and encourage learning through play.
• Work with colleagues to ensure continuity of provision and contribute to whole-school initiatives.
• Uphold the school's mission, values and safeguarding expectations.

Required profile

• Native-level English language skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Education, or a Bachelor's degree with a PGCE in Education with QTS or equivalent.
• At least 2 years' experience teaching EYFS or Key Stage 1 in British schools.
• A track record of outstanding teaching and learning, and the ability to create a caring, nurturing classroom.
