Freelance AI Trainer for FinTech & RegTech Programs

About the role

We are seeking an experienced freelance trainer to deliver engaging programmes on Artificial Intelligence, Financial Technology and Regulatory Technology to a variety of financial‑services audiences. The role is flexible, covering both in‑person and virtual sessions for banks, compliance teams, regulators and senior executives.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver training sessions on AI, FinTech and RegTech topics in classroom and online formats.
• Adapt content, pacing and delivery style to match the background and experience of each audience.
• Facilitate workshops, discussions and hands‑on exercises that link concepts to real financial‑services scenarios.
• Assess participant progress through knowledge checks and provide constructive feedback.
• Share post‑session observations with the programme team to continuously improve material.
• Stay up‑to‑date with the latest developments in AI, FinTech innovation and financial regulation.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in AI/ML, data science, FinTech, RegTech or compliance technology within financial services.
• At least 3 years of experience delivering training or facilitation to professional audiences.
• Strong understanding of FinTech business models such as Open Banking, digital payments, embedded finance, eKYC and API ecosystems.
• Familiarity with RegTech tools, automated compliance, regulatory reporting and data‑privacy frameworks.
• Experience working with financial regulators, central banks or government‑linked institutions is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical and regulatory topics to non‑technical participants.
