Freelance Senior SEO & GEO Strategist (English/Arabic)

About the role

ELEMENT SEARCH is supporting a leading Dubai-based creative and digital agency in appointing a senior freelance SEO and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) strategist to lead the search strategy behind its client accounts. The agency's identity will be shared with shortlisted candidates. This is a strategic, advisory role, fully remote and working on UAE/GCC time (GST).

Key responsibilities

• Map client business goals, audiences and regional commercial priorities.
• Build 6-12 month SEO and GEO roadmaps with clear deliverables and KPIs.
• Develop English and Arabic keyword maps and conversational prompt sets for ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Claude, tailored to GCC dialects and buyer intent.
• Recommend landing page, entity and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) content structures.
• Turn strategy into a prioritized task list for the in-house SEO executive and review progress weekly.
• Monitor AI share of voice, citations, entity attribution, competitor visibility and priority prompts, and refine the GEO roadmap.
• Validate monthly Looker Studio, GA4, GSC and GEO visibility reports before client submission.
• Co-lead monthly strategy and reporting calls with client stakeholders.

Required profile

• 5+ years in SEO strategy, with proven experience in GEO and AI search.
• Native or professional fluency in English and Arabic, including reviewing Arabic copy and presenting in both languages.
• Strong commercial acumen, turning business goals into actionable SEO/GEO plans.
• Confident, executive-level client communication.

Required skills

• Hands-on use of Semrush or Ahrefs, Google Search Console, GA4 and Looker Studio.
• Screaming Frog and LLM visibility tracking tools.

The engagement is freelance, on a monthly retainer with an agreed fixed number of hours and one month's notice. After the strategy is built, involvement is around 3-5 hours a week for check-ins, report reviews and monthly client calls.
