Front Office Intern

About the role

Join the front office team at Novotel Abu Dhabi Gate and gain hands‑on experience in hotel guest services. You will support daily operations, interact directly with guests, and develop essential hospitality skills in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests with professionalism and a genuine smile.
• Assist with personalized check‑in and check‑out procedures.
• Provide information, directions and hotel amenities, including welcome beverages when appropriate.
• Coordinate with Concierge, Guest Relations and other front‑office departments to ensure seamless service.
• Promote hotel facilities, services and ongoing promotions.
• Handle guest feedback, resolve issues or escalate them as needed.
• Record and communicate guest preferences and special requests accurately.
• Maintain a visible, polished presence in the lobby at all times.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management, Tourism or a related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Warm, outgoing personality with a strong service orientation.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment.
• Good knowledge of Abu Dhabi’s attractions and tourism sites.
• Attention to detail and strong multitasking abilities.

Required skills

• Basic computer skills.
• Familiarity with Opera or similar hotel management software (preferred).
