About the role
The Front Office Receptionist creates a welcoming, seamless, and memorable arrival and departure experience for every guest. This position serves as the first and last point of contact, delivering professional front‑desk services throughout the stay.
Key responsibilities
- Perform check‑in and check‑out procedures, process payments and handle cash/credit card transactions.
- Manage room assignments, respond to guest inquiries, resolve concerns and answer telephone calls.
- Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain accuracy in financial transactions and uphold high standards of hospitality.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Previous experience in front office, reception, cashiering, customer service or hospitality preferred.
- No supervisory experience required.
- No specific license or certification required.
Required skills
- Proficiency in check‑in and check‑out procedures.
- Cash handling and payment processing experience.
- Knowledge of Property Management Systems (PMS).
- Strong customer service and guest relations abilities.
