Gaming Systems & IT Specialist

About the role

A confidential organization is looking for an experienced IT & Gaming Systems Specialist to manage the technology ecosystem of a private household in Abu Dhabi. The role combines high‑performance gaming PC maintenance, network optimisation, and overall IT support in a discreet, high‑end environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build, configure, benchmark and fine‑tune high‑end gaming PCs and related hardware.
• Perform regular maintenance: deep cleaning, diagnostics, firmware updates and hardware upgrades.
• Manage thermal performance, power delivery and component compatibility.
• Maintain LAN infrastructure, optimise Wi‑Fi coverage (including mesh networks) and monitor latency, bandwidth and QoS.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, peripheral and gaming‑related issues.
• Configure and manage VPNs, backups, security solutions and system updates.
• Support digital entertainment platforms and keep accurate records of equipment, warranties and configurations.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience with IT, gaming systems or computer hardware.
• Strong passion for PC and online gaming with a customer‑focused mindset.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and respond to urgent technical needs.
• Professional communication skills and high level of discretion.

• High‑end gaming PC assembly and optimisation.
• Networking fundamentals, LAN setup, Wi‑Fi mesh optimisation, latency and QoS management.
• Windows and Microsoft ecosystem administration.
• VPN configuration and cybersecurity best practices.
