Gastroenterology Specialist (Doctor)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Gastroenterology Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will diagnose and treat a wide range of gastrointestinal disorders, utilizing advanced endoscopic techniques in a hospital setting.

Key responsibilities

• Perform complex endoscopic procedures, including ERCP and EUS, with therapeutic interventions.
• Interpret diagnostic imaging such as CT scans, MRIs, and ultrasounds to establish accurate diagnoses.
• Manage chronic conditions like Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) and Hepatitis, providing long‑term patient care.
• Maintain precise medical records in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
• Participate in quality‑improvement initiatives and stay current with advances in gastroenterology and hepatology.

Required profile

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) with a fellowship or board certification in Gastroenterology.
• Valid UAE medical license (DHA/MOH) eligible for specialist registration.
• Minimum 3–5 years post‑residency experience as a Gastroenterologist.
• Proven ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary and teaching environments.
