About the role
A long-term outsourced position for a general accountant in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, within the insurance industry. The role covers day-to-day accounting work and month-end closing, with immediate start.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Handle bank reconciliations, invoice processing, payment tracking and expense management.
- Assist in preparing financial statements, monthly reports and month-end closing activities.
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations, accounting standards and internal financial procedures.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- Proven experience in general accounting, preferably within the insurance industry.
Required skills
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and UAE VAT regulations.
- Proficiency with accounting software.
