General Accountant

About the role

ResoSys Solutions is recruiting a General Accountant for an industrial client based in KEZAD, Abu Dhabi. The role covers daily accounting operations, financial reporting, audit support and compliance with UAE VAT and tax requirements. The position is full-time, mid-level, and open to both genders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance.
• Prepare accurate financial statements and reports within established deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations, tax requirements and applicable accounting standards.
• Support month-end and year-end financial closing procedures.
• Assist with internal and external audits by preparing relevant financial records and documentation.
• Maintain accurate financial records and review transactions to identify discrepancies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Proven experience in a similar accounting position; experience in industrial, manufacturing or construction is an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, accuracy, organisation and the ability to work independently.

Required skills

• Proficiency in QuickBooks, Tally, ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of UAE VAT regulations, tax compliance, financial reporting, general ledger management and accounting standards.
