General Maintenance Technician – Hotel

About the role

We are looking for a proactive General Maintenance Technician to join our hotel team in Dubai. You will ensure that guest rooms, public areas and back‑of‑house facilities are kept in excellent working order, supporting a high‑standard hospitality experience.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance and repairs on hotel facilities and equipment.
• Respond promptly to guest room maintenance requests and emergency issues.
• Troubleshoot and repair basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry and painting problems.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas and back‑of‑house spaces.
• Maintain tools, equipment and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
• Report major repairs or equipment failures to the Engineering Supervisor and keep accurate maintenance records.
• Support energy‑conservation initiatives and comply with health, safety and hotel standards.

Required profile

• Diploma or certificate in Mechanical, Electrical or a related technical field.
• 1–2 years of experience as a General Technician, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
