General Manager – Community Hospitality

About the role

The General Manager is accountable for the overall business performance, commercial success, operational governance and service quality of The Community, a coliving and coworking asset. Acting as the primary bridge between owners/asset managers and the on‑site team, the GM will drive occupancy, revenue and profitability while protecting the brand, resident experience and operational standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the on‑site team and supervise outsourced providers through contracts and service‑level agreements.
• Ensure the business meets its occupancy, revenue and profitability targets.
• Oversee financial discipline, including P&L management, budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting.
• Develop and execute sales strategies, partnership initiatives and revenue‑growth plans.
• Maintain high service quality and customer experience standards.
• Report clearly to ownership and asset management, providing data‑driven decision support.
• Manage key accounts and strategic partnerships.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of experience in hospitality, coliving, coworking, serviced apartments or a similar customer‑facing service business.
• Proven ability to manage a P&L, budgets and performance reporting.
• Experience leading small, multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record in sales strategy and revenue growth.
• Experience managing outsourced providers, contracts and service standards.
• Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a pre‑opening or start‑up environment.
