General Manager

About the role

The General Manager will lead Deel’s Employer of Record (EOR) business in Dubai, owning the full P&L and growth strategy. This hands‑on leadership position requires both strategic vision and operational execution to expand market leadership and tailor solutions for complex, regulated industries.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end EOR business performance, including P&L, growth targets and global operating metrics.
• Accelerate market expansion and define the roadmap for industry‑specific solutions such as shipping, mining and entertainment.
• Scale operations, overseeing compliance, onboarding, payroll and employee lifecycle across multiple jurisdictions.
• Align product, engineering, legal, finance and go‑to‑market teams around clear priorities and execution plans.
• Drive product evolution toward a more automated, API‑enabled platform and use data‑driven insights to prioritize investments.
• Represent the EOR business internally and externally with key stakeholders and customers.

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience in general management, operations or workforce platforms.
• Proven track record scaling large P&L businesses in high‑growth, regulated environments.
• Strong ability to lead matrixed organizations and influence without direct authority.
• Strategic thinker with a hands‑on execution mindset and excellent problem‑solving skills.
• Executive presence and credibility when interacting with C‑suite leaders.
