General Manager – Restaurant

About the role

Momofuku is opening its first location in Abu Dhabi at The Grove, Saadiyat Island and is seeking a General Manager to lead the restaurant from launch through ongoing operations. The role combines strategic leadership with day‑to‑day operational oversight to ensure the brand’s standards of creativity, hospitality and profitability are consistently delivered.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, inspire and develop the restaurant’s management and operational teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring seamless service, compliance with health and safety regulations and adherence to company policies.
• Drive operational efficiency while maintaining the highest standards of quality, cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
• Collaborate closely with culinary and beverage leadership to align service delivery with menu and beverage concepts.
• Champion a guest‑first culture, actively engage with guests, manage feedback and resolve concerns promptly.
• Recruit, coach, mentor and retain top talent, conduct performance reviews and implement development initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading restaurant operations, preferably in a high‑energy, concept‑driven environment.
• Strong people‑development skills with a track record of building high‑performing teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage guests and staff alike.
• Ability to manage financial performance, drive profitability and uphold brand standards.
