General Practitioner (Tagalog Speaker)

About the role

The General Practitioner will deliver comprehensive medical care to patients in both hospital wards and outpatient clinics in Al Ain. The role requires fluency in Tagalog to communicate effectively with a specific patient population while maintaining high standards of clinical practice.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and provide general care to patients in hospital wards and outpatient clinics.
• Admit patients requiring special investigations and treatment.
• Examine patients, diagnose medical conditions, and document treatment plans.
• Liaise with medical and non‑medical staff to ensure coordinated, high‑quality care.
• Promote health education and the IFHAS screening program among eligible populations.
• Organise preventive medical programmes and maintain knowledge of local regulations.
• Support JCI quality standards and recommend improvements.
• Conduct periodic health programs for company executives.
• Observe infection‑control, patient‑safety, and assessment policies.
• Respond to client complaints, provide updates, and ensure a positive patient experience.

Required profile

• Medical degree with registration to practice as a General Practitioner.
• Fluency in Tagalog and English.
• Ability to work independently under the direction of senior physicians.
• Strong communication skills and a patient‑centred approach.

Required skills

• Knowledge of local medical regulations and JCI accreditation standards.
• Experience with infection‑control and patient‑safety protocols.
• Familiarity with health education, preventive screening, and community health programmes.
