General Repair Technician - Electric Vehicle

About the role

Join BYD and Al‑Futtaim Electric Mobility as a General Repair Technician for electric vehicles. You will perform maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on BYD EVs while ensuring safety, quality and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance, diagnostics and repair work on BYD electric vehicles.
• Perform repairs in line with EV safety standards and manufacturer guidelines.
• Achieve First‑Time‑Right repair standards and meet productivity targets.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and support Electronic Vehicle Check reporting.
• Follow workshop safety, quality and 5S standards.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to resolve technical issues.
• Maintain a clean and professional workshop environment.

Required profile

• Diploma, ITI, NCVT, ITC or equivalent technical qualification.
• 2–3 years experience as an automotive, diagnostic or general repair technician.
• Experience with vehicle maintenance, diagnostics and repair work.
• EV or hybrid vehicle experience is an advantage.
• UAE driving licence is an advantage.
