General Technician – AC

About the role

The InterContinental Fujairah Resort is seeking a General Technician – AC to maintain and optimise its air‑conditioning and HVAC systems. You will work closely with the Engineering team to ensure guest rooms, public areas and back‑of‑house facilities provide a comfortable environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, inspection, cleaning and repairs of AC and HVAC equipment.
• Monitor system performance, identify potential issues and troubleshoot split, package, FCU and AHU units.
• Check refrigerant levels, filters, coils, motors, belts, drains, thermostats and electrical components.
• Respond promptly to guest room and public‑area maintenance requests, following up on recurring or major issues.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, equipment condition and repairs.
• Support other technicians with additional maintenance tasks as required.
• Follow safe handling procedures for refrigerants, tools and equipment, and adhere to resort SOPs and safety standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in preventive and corrective maintenance of AC/HVAC systems.
• Ability to work effectively with the Engineering team and respond quickly to service requests.
• Knowledge of safe refrigerant handling and compliance with safety procedures.
• Strong record‑keeping skills for maintenance logs and equipment status.
