General Technician

About the role

We are looking for a General Technician to join the Engineering team at Saadiyat Beach Club. The role ensures the smooth operation and safety of all club facilities, supporting a premium guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical, plumbing, air‑conditioning, lighting, painting, carpentry and mechanical systems.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and operational breakdowns across guest areas, pools, restaurants, changing rooms and back‑of‑house spaces.
• Carry out regular inspections of beach facilities and ensure all equipment functions safely and efficiently.
• Assist in preventive‑maintenance programmes to minimise equipment downtime.
• Report major repair needs and technical issues to the Engineering Supervisor or Team Leader.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools, equipment and work areas.
• Support setup and maintenance of beach events, outdoor activities and special functions as required.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience in general maintenance within a hospitality or leisure environment.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and respond quickly to guest‑related issues.
• Good organisational skills to keep tools and work areas tidy.
