Global Financial Markets Associate (NQ - 3 PQE)

About the role

The Global Financial Markets (GFM) team is seeking an associate to support a wide range of financing and risk‑management transactions for governments, supranational bodies and leading financial institutions. Based in Dubai, the role offers exposure to innovative deals, including sustainable finance and digital bonds.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with day‑to‑day management of transactions and prepare legal documents for execution.
• Conduct legal research, develop knowledge of market practices and draft both standard and complex documents, including precedents.
• Provide strategic guidance to clients, manage expectations and ensure timely project delivery.
• Contribute to business development by creating personal plans and supporting campaign implementation.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer (NQ – 3 PQE) with experience in a complex international organisation.
• Strong commercial acumen, analytical ability and a pragmatic approach to problem‑solving.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills, with proven prioritisation and project‑management capabilities.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
