Graduate Area Manager

About the role

As a Graduate Area Manager at Amazon, you will lead a large and diverse team so that your area of the business keeps pace with demand. It is a hands-on role where you learn the complexity of operations at a global business and work closely with colleagues to solve challenges. You will work shifts and be based at one of the operational sites.

Key responsibilities

• Promote a culture of safety and wellbeing.
• Analyse and implement corrective actions to keep quality and productivity high and meet business objectives across all shifts.
• Support and lead a team, handling administrative work while building a strong team culture.
• Analyse performance and suggest process improvements to optimise work and improve customer service.
• Collaborate with other managers to standardise shift processes.
• Maintain safety standards and process efficiency, prioritising routine team management and daily operational tasks.
• Handle individual escalations, process improvement work and contingency planning.
• Work with colleagues in other teams and external partners, analyse data and performance metrics with business leaders, and discuss technical improvements with engineers.

Required profile

• University degree (Bachelor's or Master's), completed before the start date.
• Advanced proficiency in written and verbal English.
• Relevant experience in performing data analysis.
