Graduate Electrical/Mechanical Engineer – Emirati National

About the role

WSP is looking for enthusiastic Emirati graduates in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering to join our Middle East team. You will gain hands‑on experience, mentorship and exposure to a variety of engineering projects while working alongside senior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development and implementation of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to analyse and resolve technical issues.
• Prepare technical reports, documentation and project plans.
• Support testing, troubleshooting and maintenance of equipment and systems.
• Work with cross‑functional teams to ensure project execution complies with standards.
• Help review project budgets, timelines and resource allocation.
• Participate in all project stages from concept to final delivery.
• Maintain focus on safety, quality and sustainability.

Required profile

• UAE national with a valid Family Book.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related field).
• Internship or project experience in a relevant engineering environment is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast‑paced setting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with engineering design software such as AutoCAD.
• Proficiency with engineering design software such as SolidWorks.
