Graduate Mechanical/Electrical Engineer (Emirati National)

About the role

WSP is looking for enthusiastic Emirati graduates to join its Mechanical and Electrical engineering team in the Middle East. You will work alongside experienced engineers on a variety of projects, gaining hands‑on experience, mentorship and exposure to industry‑leading practices.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the design, development and implementation of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to analyse and resolve technical issues.
• Prepare technical reports, documentation and project plans.
• Support testing, troubleshooting and maintenance of equipment and systems.
• Work with cross‑functional teams to ensure project execution complies with technical standards.
• Contribute to project budgeting, timeline planning and resource allocation.
• Maintain a focus on safety, quality and sustainability throughout all activities.

Required profile

• UAE national holding a valid Family Book.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Internship or project experience in a relevant engineering environment is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn in a fast‑paced setting.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks or equivalent engineering design software.
