Graduate Supply Chain (UAE National)

About the role

Wood is looking for a graduate Supply Chain professional to join its team supporting complex Oil & Gas and Energy projects. The role suits a motivated UAE National graduate who wants practical experience in procurement, expediting, logistics, materials management and supplier coordination within a global engineering and consulting environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support supply chain and procurement activities in line with project requirements
• Develop knowledge of Oil & Gas supply chain processes, systems and controls
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, ethical standards and client requirements
• Build internal and external stakeholder relationships
• Assist with purchase requisitions, purchase orders and vendor coordination
• Support materials management and logistics, liaising with suppliers, expeditors and logistics providers
• Maintain procurement and supply chain documentation in ERP systems
• Support supplier performance monitoring, expediting, inspection coordination and documentation review
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and HSE requirements
• Take part in graduate development and mentoring programmes

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering or a related discipline
• UAE National (family book required)
• Strong interest in supply chain, procurement and logistics in the Oil & Gas or Energy sector
• Good analytical, organisational and communication skills
• Willingness to learn in a fast-paced project environment and attention to detail

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team
