Graphic Design Specialist

About the role

The Graphic Design Specialist will create engaging visual media for a wide range of Academy materials, from promotional posts and advertising layouts to training programs and printed collateral. The role ensures all designs align with the Academy’s corporate identity, mission, and marketing strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Develop visual assets for social media, website, brochures, flyers, posters, and other marketing materials.
• Use Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) to produce high‑quality, creative designs.
• Stay current with design trends and benchmark against innovative work.
• Prepare files according to print specifications, color modes (RGB, CMYK), bleed, and resolution requirements.
• Apply color theory to create balanced, harmonious designs.
• Revise designs based on manager feedback within agreed timelines.
• Export final artwork in required formats and coordinate with external printers.
• Design brand elements such as logos, business cards, and other identity materials.
• Present design concepts and rationales to the direct manager.
• Recommend subscriptions to design resource platforms (Canva, Shutterstock, Freepik) as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or a related field.
• 3–5 years of professional graphic design experience.
• Previous experience in the academic or education sector is a plus.
• Professional certifications in graphic design are preferred.
