Group Chief Financial Officer

About the role

The Group CFO oversees the full financial lifecycle of a holding company and its diversified assets, based in Abu Dhabi. The role covers capital markets and PE fundraising, corporate banking and treasury, corporate and tax architecture, and portfolio governance.

Key responsibilities

• Drive equity and debt fundraising and manage relationships with external shareholders, investment banks and private equity partners
• Negotiate with corporate banking partners and oversee group liquidity and syndication of credit facilities
• Design an institutional corporate structure using ADGM/DIFC jurisdictions and manage cross-border tax compliance
• Provide commercial oversight of operating assets and implement financial modelling and forecasting
• Standardise accounting policies under IFRS and lead the transition of subsidiaries to Big 4 audit standards in preparation for IPO
• Secure at least one major capital raise, refinancing or M&A deal within the first year, and deliver an IPO-ready consolidated audit by the first year

Required profile

• CA, CPA, CFA or MBA from a top-tier global institution
• 10-15 years of progressive financial experience
• 3-5 years in IB, PE or Big 4 M&A advisory
• 5-8 years in a senior financial leadership role (CFO or Finance Director) in a multi-entity holding structure
• MBA/Executive MBA from a top-ranked school strongly preferred
