Group Strategic Investments Manager

About the role

The Group Strategic Investments Manager will lead the execution of investment workstreams across the ADNOC Group, covering mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, disposals, and capital market transactions. The role ensures alignment with the group’s investment governance framework and collaborates with finance, legal, and business functions to deliver strategic projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead execution of workstreams such as financial modelling, valuation, due diligence, project management and structuring.
• Oversee procurement and management of external consultants for relevant projects.
• Prepare marketing materials and investment proposals.
• Support development and rollout of the Group’s Investment Governance Policies and Framework.
• Ensure smooth submission process to the investment committee and present financial models to internal stakeholders.
• Guarantee consistency and quality of finalised financial models in line with Economic Evaluation Guidelines.
• Liaise with internal and external deal execution teams, coordinating information gathering, meetings and stakeholder inputs.
• Coordinate with Legal, Compliance, Finance, Marketing & Sales and other functions to develop business cases and meet deal requirements.
• Supervise and develop assigned staff, providing training and performance oversight.
• Contribute to budget preparation, monitor variances and support cost control.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading investment or M&A workstreams within a large corporate group.
• Strong understanding of investment governance, capital structure optimisation and financial evaluation guidelines.
• Ability to interact with cross‑functional teams including Treasury, Planning, Risk, Legal and HR.
• Demonstrated capability to manage external advisors and produce high‑quality deliverables.
• Experience supervising and developing junior staff.
