Group Strategic Investments Manager

About the role

ADNOC is looking for a Group Strategic Investments Manager in Abu Dhabi. The role leads workstreams covering mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, disposals, equity and debt capital market transactions, capital structure optimisation and other strategic investments across the ADNOC group, supporting its subsidiaries. It also helps maintain an adequate investment governance framework and works with finance, legal, governance, IT, HR and the business line to deliver performance targets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead workstreams such as modelling, valuation, due diligence, project management and structuring, and oversee external consultants where needed.
• Prepare relevant marketing materials.
• Support the development, revision and rollout of the Group's Investment Governance Policies and Framework, and ensure investment project submissions to the investment committee run smoothly.
• Present and advise on financial models, ensuring they are internally consistent and quality assured in line with the Group Economic Evaluation Guidelines.
• Liaise with deal execution teams and coordinate with Legal, Compliance, Finance, Marketing & Sales on business cases and deal requirements.
• Plan, supervise and train staff, contribute to budgets and performance objectives, and report progress to management.
• Comply with HSE policies, sustainability guidelines and the ADNOC Code of Practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting; a Master's in Finance is a plus.
• 10 years of experience in roles such as new business development, commercial/trading, growth, mergers and acquisitions or business model development.
• Strong strategic competence and extensive financial management experience.
• CPA, ACCA or CFA preferred.
