Group Tax Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Group Tax Manager to lead our global tax function from Dubai. You will ensure compliance, drive tax optimisation, and provide strategic advice to senior leadership across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the Group’s overall tax strategy, advising on expansions, acquisitions and cross‑border transactions.
• Oversee direct and indirect tax compliance, including corporate income tax, withholding tax, VAT/GST, and transfer pricing filings.
• Lead the transfer pricing framework, prepare documentation and manage country‑specific filings.
• Evaluate tax implications of commercial deals, contracts and new business initiatives.
• Manage tax audits, investigations and disputes, coordinating with external advisors and legal counsel.
• Oversee tax provisioning, effective tax rate analysis and reporting for Group consolidation.
• Act as the primary tax liaison for senior management, finance teams and tax authorities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation or related field.
• Professional qualification (CA, ACCA, CPA, CTA) mandatory.
• 10–15 years of tax experience with significant international/group exposure.
• Strong background in corporate tax, VAT/GST, withholding tax and transfer pricing.
• Proven ability to manage tax matters across multiple jurisdictions.
