Guest Professor of Data Science (Dubai)

About the role

UE is seeking a Guest Professor of Data Science to join its Business Faculty at the Dubai campus starting July 2026. The role involves delivering engaging, practice‑oriented modules and fostering an inclusive learning environment for a diverse student body.

Key responsibilities

• Teach introductory and advanced courses in Programming, Big Data & Analytics, Quantitative Methods, Mathematics & Statistics.
• Plan and implement interdisciplinary research and development projects.
• Advise and supervise students, including bachelor and master theses.
• Grade assignments, supervise seminars and projects, and maintain high academic standards.
• Establish industry collaborations and contribute to university committees.
• Participate in the design of new study programmes and continuous curriculum development.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in a relevant field, with proof of scientific aptitude (doctorate or recognized publications).
• At least three years of professional experience, including two years outside academia.
• Demonstrated ability to teach in English.
• National and international work experience.
