Guest Service Agent

About the role

Join the InterContinental Dubai Marina, a five‑star luxury hotel in the heart of Dubai Marina, as a Guest Service Agent. You will be the first point of contact for guests, delivering warm, professional service and ensuring a memorable stay.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, perform efficient check‑in and check‑out procedures, and issue room keys.
• Verify guest information, process payments, and manage cash, credit‑card, and other transactions.
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints, providing accurate information about hotel facilities, services, promotions, and local attractions.
• Handle room reservations, amendments, cancellations, and special requests using the property management system.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Engineering, Food & Beverage and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean, organized front‑desk and lobby area, and uphold brand standards and data‑protection policies.
• Upsell rooms, facilities and services where appropriate and assist with emergency and safety procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a similar front‑office or guest‑service role.
• Strong interpersonal skills with excellent written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.
• Ability to work rotating shifts in a fast‑paced, high‑energy environment.
