About the role
The Gym Instructor will ensure the fitness centre at Le Méridien Dubai is clean, safe and welcoming for all guests. You will be responsible for maintaining equipment, providing towels, and assisting guests with any needs related to the recreation facilities.
Key responsibilities
- Wipe down fitness machines, remove towels, trash and debris, and keep the area tidy.
- Maintain an adequate supply of cups, water, towels and distribute lockers to guests.
- Clean restrooms and showers in the recreation area.
- Conduct inventory of supplies and equipment, reporting low stock to management.
- Provide guests with information about available facilities and promote a fun, relaxing atmosphere.
- Enforce safety rules, report accidents, and assist injured guests until emergency services arrive.
- Answer telephone inquiries courteously and uphold professional appearance standards.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Current CPR and First Aid certifications.
- No prior related work experience required.
- Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 lb and stand for extended periods.
