Handover Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Handover Engineer to manage the transition of construction projects from execution to operation. The role involves coordinating with contractors, engineers and clients to ensure a smooth handover of deliverables.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with contractors, engineers and clients to ensure smooth project handover.
• Analyze project requirements and specifications for the handover process.
• Provide training and support to end‑users on project deliverables after handover.
• Identify and resolve issues or discrepancies during handover.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of all handover activities.
• Continuously improve handover processes based on feedback and lessons learned.
• Develop detailed handover procedures and documentation.
• Conduct inspections and quality checks to verify compliance with standards.
• Participate in project meetings and provide updates on handover progress.
• Ensure timely completion of handover to meet project deadlines.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in handover engineering for construction projects.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact with diverse stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proactive problem‑solving approach.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Team player capable of effective cross‑functional collaboration.
