Hands-on Construction Manager – G+8 Building Project

About the role

We are a Dubai‑based building contracting company seeking a hands‑on Construction Manager to lead daily site execution of a new G+8 residential building. The role is fully site‑based, requiring the manager to treat the project as their own and maintain a strong on‑site presence.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of daily site execution from mobilization through completion, testing, authority inspections and final handover.
• Study contract documents, drawings, specifications, BOQ, approved materials and authority requirements in detail.
• Identify drawing discrepancies, coordination conflicts and constructability issues before they affect progress.
• Conduct detailed daily site inspections and detect technical, quality, safety and sequencing problems early.
• Direct and control site engineers, foremen, surveyors, subcontractors, suppliers and labour teams.
• Monitor manpower, productivity, materials, subcontractor performance and daily progress.
• Plan upcoming activities ensuring drawings, materials, approvals, manpower, equipment and access are ready.
• Lead practical execution and quality control of excavation, shoring, dewatering, substructure works, reinforcement, formwork, concrete, RCC, waterproofing, blockwork, plastering, screed, architectural finishes, façade, roofing and external works.
• Coordinate MEP works and resolve drawing conflicts before work proceeds.
• Liaise professionally with consultants, client, subcontractors, suppliers and relevant authorities.
• Respond to consultant comments with approved documents and challenge non‑contractual requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Construction Manager on residential building projects.
• Strong on‑site presence with the ability to make daily decisions independently.
• Proactive identification and resolution of technical, quality and safety issues.
• Excellent coordination skills with consultants, clients, subcontractors and authorities.
• Good understanding of contracts, drawings, specifications and construction programmes.
• Ability to lead and supervise site engineers, foremen and labour teams.

What we offer

• Competitive all‑inclusive salary of AED 15,000–18,000 per month.
• Full‑time, site‑based position with direct support from the Projects Manager.
