Head of Assembly & Integration

About the role

Air Q Limited seeks a Head of Assembly & Integration to build and lead the Assembly & Integration function from the ground up, overseeing multiple production streams in a fast‑moving, pre‑launch environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build and lead the Assembly & Integration organization, hiring Assembly Leads and Technicians.
• Establish work standards, staffing plans and shift structures ahead of facility go‑live.
• Own line performance across low‑volume, high‑volume (S2) and ad‑hoc/launcher streams, monitoring throughput, quality and schedule adherence.
• Collaborate with Industrialization, Process Engineering, supply chain and subcontractors on tooling, work instructions and production readiness.
• Drive Lean manufacturing, line balancing and continuous‑improvement initiatives to meet go‑live and production targets.

• Excellent problem‑solving, decision‑making and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with engineering, quality, supply chain and production teams.

Required skills

• Lean manufacturing principles
• Line balancing and production planning
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality standards
• PMP, Six Sigma or similar manufacturing leadership certifications (advantageous)
