Head of Finance

About the role

INFINITY Developments, a luxury real estate developer in Zanzibar, Tanzania and Dubai, is hiring a Head of Finance. The role leads financial strategy, strengthens financial governance and drives sustainable business growth, advising the Managing Director and senior management. It is a full-time, senior leadership position requiring 10+ years of experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with business objectives and long-term growth plans, and advise on performance, investments, risks and opportunities.
• Lead annual budgeting, financial forecasting, business planning and scenario analysis.
• Oversee financial reporting, management accounts, cash flow forecasts and consolidated financial statements, and monitor working capital, liquidity, costs, revenue and financial KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations, VAT, Corporate Tax and statutory reporting, and oversee internal controls, risk management and audit processes.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, banks and tax advisers, and ensure the integrity of financial records.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll and financial closing, and drive process improvements, automation and ERP use.
• Lead, mentor and develop the finance and accounting team.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline; a Master's or MBA is an advantage.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CA or CMA strongly preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including substantial senior management or finance leadership experience.
• Knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax and statutory compliance.
• Demonstrated experience leading finance teams and advising executive management.
