Head of Finance, Operations, Internal Controls & People

About the role

We are looking for a senior finance leader to join our regulated digital finance platform in Dubai. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will own finance, treasury, operational governance, internal controls and people operations as the company scales globally.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full accounting cycle, month‑end close and produce management reports.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling activities.
• Oversee treasury operations, banking relationships and payment workflows.
• Design and maintain an internal control framework and governance processes.
• Coordinate audits and support regulatory reporting.
• Handle vendor management and operational infrastructure.
• Administer HR functions including onboarding, employee records and people operations.
• Prepare executive and investor reporting.

Required profile

• 6‑10 years of experience in finance, accounting, operations and internal controls within regulated financial services.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, ACA, CPA or equivalent.
• Background in fintech, asset management, fund administration, digital assets or similar regulated environments.
• Proven track record of producing management accounts, budgets and board‑level reports.
• Experience designing or managing internal control frameworks.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑moving startup.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel / Google Sheets.
• Modern accounting systems (Xero, QuickBooks, NetSuite or equivalents).
