Head of Finance Operations

About the role

AI Acquisition is looking for a hands‑on Finance Operator to turn its chaotic, multi‑entity financial environment into a streamlined, automated machine. Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will free them from day‑to‑day operational work so they can focus on strategy and growth.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily cash‑flow and treasury operations across all entities (DMCC, Acquisity, AI Broker, etc.)
• Manage high‑volume USD revenue flows and ensure uninterrupted funding of corporate cards for Meta ad spend
• Build a live cash‑visibility dashboard for instant financial insight
• Lead the migration from legacy payment tools (Pleo/UK‑entity) to Qashio and evaluate Whop’s virtual‑card platform
• Eliminate manual payment bottlenecks by automating card‑topping and reconciliation processes
• Audit every manual finance process and convert repeatable tasks into automated SOPs
• Develop and enforce SOPs for cash management, reporting, payments, refunds, and reconciliations
• Collaborate with external bookkeeping partner (Emifast) to keep Xero accurate and up‑to‑date

Required profile

• Hands‑on leader who thrives in organized chaos and can roll up sleeves to get things done
• Strong operational grip with the ability to direct and motivate a finance team
• Proactive creator of clarity who builds systems rather than waiting for direction
• Comfortable moving between strategic oversight and detailed execution

Required skills

• Experience with Xero accounting software
• Familiarity with payment platforms such as Qashio, Pleo, and Whop
• Cash‑flow management and treasury oversight
• Automation of finance processes and SOP development
